The process of extracting petroleum from a new well in Qashqara region has been started

The Afghanistan Oil and Gas State-owned Corporation (SOC) of Ministry of Finance and a Chinese contracting corporation (Afg-Chin Oil and gas Ltd.) jointly opened a new extraction well in the Qashqara oil field.
Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar and General Director of Oil and Gas SOC under the Ministry of Finance, Mohammad Naseer Rahimi (Engineer Hassan) and officials opened a new extraction well (No. 21) in Qashqara area of Saripul Province and its extraction process has been started.
Currently, around 70 tons of crude oil is being extracted from mentioned well in 24 hours and in the near future, the level of extraction from this well will increase to 100 tons.
